They say that all drug dealers eventually get caught. But I’m proof they don’t.
I’m not what you’d think. I’m not in a gang and I've never killed anybody. My business was as straightforward as any other I bring the product, you bring the cash, we make the exchange, and voila. It went like this 99% of the time.
Being a mid-level cocaine dealer in Hollywood, California, I bypassed a lot of the dirt and negativity associated with drug use and dealing.
Coke is, after all, a rich man’s drug. Businessmen, actors, singers, music executives, and big shot movie producers made up most of my clientele.
I promised myself that I would make as much money as I could-- in six months. After six months I’m out.
In that .5 a year I made a bundle of cash, experienced places and situations I never would have otherwise, rubbed shoulders (and railed lines) with Hollywood big shots, and became the source of the party for some A-list celebrities.
Some of it may seem unbelievable; some of it will seem outright stupid… For what it’s worth, I assure you it’s all true, to the best of my recollection.

This is an excellent true story of a young guy in Hollywood. At the end the author asks for critique, so I'll answer his questions. It would be great if the author expanded more on descriptions of the Hollywood elite (producers, directors and actors), what their houses look like, the setting up of the parties and the party atmosphere and conversations. The book is told from a very interesting perspective, and the author is able to size up the Hollywood crowd very well. The depth of writing about the business and profit side is just right. The price for this kindle book is fair I thought. I usually don't like diary style writing, or writing in the present tense however somehow Just Ryan pulled it off. The book is very impressive. Not easy to read.....not too much of a story line
I kept waiting for the book and o get better and the next thing I know I have to wait until September to buy the rest of the book. Not happy!!
Great book . Hard to put down but it went by too fast . I can't wait for the next part. I really liked it a lot
I can see the short term appeal, but with the connections made why not go straight. People seeking the Hollywood dream would kill for a chance the meet and greets. Become legitimately employed by one of these big wigs, and live worry free. Or maybe you have no worth to them without the supplies.

It’s always interesting to read about why people get into the life of crime. This book was pretty much what I had expected.
Entertaining, quick read. "Ryan" def is not a writer, which in this case is ok and makes his attempt at a journal like experience work. I don't think I've ever seen any random guys shouting out "drugs for sale.." in any club I've worked at or been in over the years and much of his story sounds completely fabricated, but hey maybe that's how it is in LA??? Somehow doubt that. Cocaine in particular is huge in Hollywood, music world and entertainment in general, but many of those people have assistants and/or "security - often current or ex gang members , outlaw bikers, mob affiliated types" who handle these transactions...or at least that's what I've heard through the grapevine.
